The international project “Amadeus Live” has already been shown in Warsaw by the Polish National Opera (April 2024). Miloš Forman’s masterpiece with symphonic music and live choir will now premiere in Wrocław.

The audience will hear the Kraków Philharmonic Choir and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra led by Dutch conductor Ernst van Tiel who specializes in film music concerts. The show will be on stage on July 20, 2024 during the mBank International Film Festival New Horizons at the Hala Stulecia (Centennial Hall) in Wrocław.

The world premiere of Miloš Forman’s movie with live music took place at the Royal Albert Hall in 2016. Since then, it has been shown in the largest world’s metropolises, such as Paris, Tokyo, Seoul and Toronto.

“Amadeus” (1984) is a timeless story of two clashing composers: a joyful and frivolous genius (Tom Hulce as Mozart) and a lofty, talentless court composer (F. Murray Abraham as Salieri). The film is an eight-time Oscar-winner: for best film, best director, best actor, best script, set design, costumes, make-up and sound.
