Artists for flood victims. Polish Royal Opera holds charity concert
The Polish Royal Opera and the Royal Łazienki Museum take a joint initiative and hold a charity concert in the face of the natural disaster that hit the southern part of Poland. All proceeds will be donated to flood victims.
The concert entitled “Artists for Flood Victims – Charity Concert” will take place on Wednesday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Theater. The program features the most famous excerpts from Stanisław Moniuszko’s “The Haunted Manor” and “Halka”, performed by soloists: Gabriela Kamińska (soprano), Dorota Lachowicz (mezzo-soprano), Mateusz Zajdel (tenor), Witold Żołądkiewicz (baritone) and the Orchestra of the Polish Royal Opera under the baton of Karol Szwech.
The ticket broker kicket.com have waived their commission on the ticket sales. Polish Red Cross volunteers will raise funds for flood victims during the concert at the Royal Theater.
