Charity concert for flood victims “Listen to Silesia Calling” at the Polish National Opera
The scores of the composers associated with the region of Silesia: Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Wojciech Kilar, Eugeniusz Knapik and Bolesław Szabeleski, will be performed at the Polish National Opera on Sunday, October 20. The concert is a gesture of solidarity with the victims of the recent flooding. The income from ticket sales will be allocated to help the school in Nowy Świętowo (Głuchołazy commune). Featuring the Choir and Orchestra of the Polish National Opera. The soprano parts will be performed by Aleksandra Kubas-Kruk and Justyna Khil. The partner of the concert is the Silesian Philharmonic, therefore the musical director will be its artistic director Yaroslav Shemet.
