The 7th Summer Festival of the Polish Royal Opera is underway, with the current edition devoted entirely to the works of Gioachino Rossini, considered the Italian master of comic opera. On July 9 and 18, the youngest music lovers – children aged 5-12 will have an opportunity to attend family workshops with their adult guardians.

The meetings in the magical world of Rossini’s operas will unfold the stories of “Cinderella”, “The Barber of Seville” and “The Italian Girl in Algiers.” The children will participate in a singing lesson under the supervision of the choirmaster, they will learn the secrets of being an opera singer, listen to melodies by the Italian composer and talk to the artists of the Polish Royal Opera.

The workshops will be held in the historic space of the Royal Theater in the Old Orangery in the Royal Łazienki Museum, one of several original 18th-century court theatres in Europe.
