The memory of tenor affiliated with the Silesian Opera in Bytom and the Polish National Opera in Warsaw Bogdan Paprocki (1919-2010) has been cultivated by the Association named after him. For the sixth time, it holds a concert performance in the “Paprocki in Memoriam” series, titled “Due paesi – Polish-Italian opera music gala”.
On November 10 (Sunday), the National Philharmonic in Warsaw will feature arias and ensembles from the most famous Polish and Italian operas sung by: Gabriela Legun – soprano, Małgorzata Walewska – mezzo-soprano, Rafał Bartmiński – tenor and Mateusz Michałowski – baritone. The Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra will be led by Jose Maria Florencio. The concert repertoire includes rediscovered forgotten opera works by Polish composers. The lyrics will be prepared and presented by popular television host Katarzyna Sanocka.
