The 5th International Adam Didur Opera Singers’ Competition, opened on October 6, marks a number of anniversaries. 45 years have passed since its first national edition, and 20 years since the first international one. This year is also the 150th anniversary of the birth of the competition’s patron Adam Didur, one of the most outstanding Polish basses. Baritone Andrzej Dobber has been appointed Artistic Director of the contest for the first time. On Sunday, October 13, the awards gala will be available online.
