New season at NOSPR. Tickets on sale now
All roads lead to NOSPR! – is the slogan of the new 2024-25 season at the Katowice institution.
The season will be launched on October 4, with Artistic Director Marin Alsop conducting the opening performance. The program features Barber, Szpilman, Brahms and Gershwin, with Hayato Sumino at the piano. The Japanese pianist will also perform during the recital two days later. In October, Olga Pasiecznik and Anna Radziejewska will perform duets from Handel’s operas. In November, Gabriela Legun and Stanislav Kuflyuk and the Krakow Philharmonic Choir will perform “Requiem” by Gabriel Fauré, under the baton of Patrick Fournillier. In January, the audience will hear Belgian soprano Ilse Eerens in the Mozart repertoire (conducted by Dirk Vermeulen).
During the season, a number of events combining classical music, jazz and popular music are planned. In September, the audience will hear Fisz Emade Tworzywo Symfoniczne or a concert by Jakub Józef Orliński and Aleksander Dębicz (#LETSBaROCK), Urszula Dudziak (October), Nosowska i Król (December), MIUOSH (January), Edyta Bartosiewicz (February) and Marcin Masecki ( several times during the season).

This year, NOSPR celebrates its 10th anniversary, and a number of anniversary events have been prepared on that occasion. According to the institution, nearly 3,500 events have been organized over 10 years, attended by over three million people.
