{oh!} Orchestra and Narea Son open The Colours of Poland festival in Łowicz
The 25th anniversary edition of the festival The Colours of Poland (Kolory Polski) begins with concert performance by one of the most important Polish bands performing early music. {oh!} Orchestra was established by conductor Martyna Pastuszka in 2012. Since then, they have played at numerous concerts and festivals in Poland and abroad.
{oh!} Orchestra will accompany Narea Son, South Korean soprano permanently affiliated with the opera theater in Hamburg. The singer has performed, among others, at the Baroque Opera Festival in Bayreuth, the Seoul Opera, the Grand Theater in Shanghai and the Poly Theater in Shenzhen. According to the note on the website of the Staatsoper Hamburg, Narea Son took her first steps in music at the age of four. Playing the piano remains one of her passions. If I wasn’t a singer, I would be a piano player. Perhaps this is where my enthusiasm for singing, for the combination of piano and voice, comes from? – she confesses.
The concert will be held on July 6 in the Piarist Church of Our Lady of Grace and St. Wojciech in Łowicz. The programme features works by Georg Friedrich Händel and Georg Muffat. The festival is organized by the Łódź Philharmonic. Admission is free.
