Tenor Krystian Adam sings title role in Monteverdi’s “L’Orfeo” at Zurich Opera House
Tenor Krystian Adam Krzeszowiak, internationally recognized as Krystian Adam, sings the title role in “L’Orfeo” – the opera written by the father of the genre, Claudio Monteverdi.
Fourteen performances are scheduled from May 17 through July 11 at the Zurich Opera House. The Polish tenor will be joined on stage by Mirco Palazzi, Mark Milhofer, Massimo Altieri and Luca Cervoni, among others.
Krystian Adam mainly performs in baroque and classical repertoire. In 2023, he sang on a number of opera stages worldwide, including: Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Opera in Halle, Royal Opera House in London, Musikverein in Graz, Opéra Royal de Versailles or Grand Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. Debut with the prestigious Orchestra and Chorus of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, directed by Antonio Pappano since 2005, marked Krystian Adam’s last performance of 2023.
