The theatre has also announced additions to its full-time soloists ensemble: Jolanta Wagner (soprano), Agnieszka Adamczak (soprano) and Paweł Żak (tenor).

The staging of “Halka” by Stanisław Moniuszko in Wrocław on September 8, 1945 marked the beginning of the Polish opera stage. The upcoming 80th season is therefore a jubilee year for the theatre.
